電力館　可能性のタマゴたち
Electric Power Pavilion -Eggs of Possibilities

全国の10電力会社で構成する電気事業連合会は、日本の電気事業を円滑に運営していくことを目的に設立された団体です。長年にわたり、エネルギー産業の一翼を担ってきました。大阪・関西万博では『エネルギーの可能性で未来を切り開き、いのち輝く社会の実現へ。』をテーマに、電力という財を通じてカーボンニュートラル（脱炭素）の世界観を発信し、エネルギーといのち輝く未来を考えるパビリオン『電力館（仮称）』を出展します。
「エネルギー」と聞くと、難しい感じや固いイメージを抱く方がいるかもしれませんが、実は私たちの身近なところに存在しています。電力館（仮称）では、例えば、今までは考えられなかったものからエネルギーを取り出して使えるようにすること。例えば、今まで以上に無駄の出ない方法でエネルギーを配ったり、使ったりすることなど、エネルギーの可能性について考えて、発見して、いのち輝く未来社会を体感することができます。
パビリオンのコンセプトは『可能性のタマゴ』。エネルギーの多くは、「可能性」を発見してから長い時間をかけて実用化されていきます。その姿はタマゴのようです。見つけ出した可能性のタマゴを長い時間をかけて温めて（＝技術開発）、ふ化（＝実用化）させる。そのタマゴたちをパビリオンで発見してほしい。そんな想いが込められています。
パビリオンではさまざまなワクワクする体験が提供されます。その1つが「タマゴ型デバイス」。このデバイスを手に持ち、エネルギーの可能性について自ら発見して触れてもらえる装置をはじめ、エンターテイメント性に溢れながらエネルギーの身近さや可能性について伝えます。
クリーンエネルギーやカーボンニュートラルなど、いまエネルギーのあり方が大きく問われています。そんな今だからこそ、万博で電力業界が提案する「エネルギー」の未来に大注目です。

The Federation of Electric Power Companies of Japan (FEPC) is made up of ten power companies nationwide, and was established to ensure the smooth operation of Japan's electric power industry. It has played a significant role in the energy sector for many years. At the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, it will host “the Electric Power Pavilion Eggs of Possibiliteis" under the theme “New energy possibilities for a brighter future ." This pavilion will showcase a carbon-neutral world through the valuable resource of electricity, encouraging visitors to consider energy and a future where life shines brightly.
When you hear the word “energy," you might think it sounds complicated or difficult, but in reality, it exists very close to us. At the Electric Power Pavilion, you will explore the potential of energy in ways you never imagined before, such as extracting energy from previously unthinkable sources or distributing and using energy more efficiently than ever. Visitors will discover and experience a future society where life shines brightly through these explorations.
The pavilion's concept is “Eggs ofPossibilities." Much like an egg, a lot of energy's potential is realized after a long process from discovery to practical application. These eggs of possibilities are nurtured (through technological development) over time and eventually hatch (become practical). This pavilion embodies the hope that visitors will discover these eggs of possibilities.
The pavilion will offer many exciting experiences, including an egg-shaped device. As visitors hold this device, they will discover the potential of energy through interactive exhibits. These experiences convey the proximity and potential of energy in an entertaining way.
As clean energy and carbon neutrality become increasingly important, the role of energy is under scrutiny. This makes the energy proposals from the electric power industry at the Expo especially noteworthy.
